Sotheby’s sold a Rolex ‘Albino’ Daytona Ref. 6263 in Abu Dhabi on December 5, 2025, for $952,500 including premium, against a $750,000 hammer price. Dealer Kamal Choraria bought the watch. Its monochromatic silver dial’s originality is disputed, with allegations that ‘Albino’ Daytonas were assembled using suspected Ref. 6238 Pre-Daytona service dials rather than produced by Rolex.
