Rolex Daytona 6264 ‘JPS Cherry’ sells below estimate amid authenticity allegations
Sotheby’s Hong Kong sold a Rolex Daytona ref. 6264 ‘JPS Cherry’ for HKD 9 million hammer, or HKD 11.52 million including fees, against a HKD 12–28 million estimate. Jose Pereztroika alleges a counterfeit bezel and says a former Rolex restoration chief confirmed the dial was a Singer service replacement made in 1995.
