Sotheby's New York sold a vintage Blancpain Fifty Fathoms in late 2024 that Jose Pereztroika alleges combined parts from different models and periods despite his warning. Identified as lot 245, Fifty Fathoms 1000, 3224, the antimagnetic-alloy watch entered a Taiwanese collection. Blancpain had previously included it in a 2010 exhibition.
