Arthur Choquet’s “Un Instant” and Aymeric Peters’s “Silence Choisi” won the technician and apprentice categories of Cartier’s 2026 watchmaking prize. Both receive a Cartier watch and an internship offer. For 2027, the competition adds a jewellery discipline and invites interpretations of Cartier’s animal world, with applications open until November 30, 2026.
Cartier
The updated Santos de Cartier Chronograph combines a refined dial and slimmer profile with Cartier’s automatic manufacture calibre 1904 CH MC. Its case measures 47.5 × 39.8 mm and is 11.6 mm thick. The steel and steel-and-yellow-gold versions share nearly identical specifications but offer distinct wrist presence; an all-yellow-gold version is also available.
