NOMOS Glashütte has launched the Metro Date Power Reserve Ice Blue with a new in-house movement. The release extends the German watchmaker’s Metro collection, introduced in 2014, which combines minimalist contemporary design with mechanical sophistication.

The 20th Salón Internacional Alta Relojería will take place October 20–22 at The St. Regis Mexico City, hosting 50 brands. Six first-time exhibitors—Christiaan van der Klaauw, Kudoke, NOMOS Glashütte, Neprosolar, Pragma and Unimatic—join the fair. The program includes launches, Mexican-market editions and watches rarely available through regular retail channels.
NOMOS Glashütte’s Metro Date Power Reserve ice blue, reference 1121, pairs a 37mm stainless-steel case, 8mm thick, with the new manual-winding DUW 4701. It offers quick-set date adjustment, a 52-hour power reserve and 50m water resistance. Priced at $4,500 in the US and from €3,280 in Spain, it accompanies a movement update for the white-dial version.
NOMOS Glashütte’s new Metro Datum Gangreserve eisblau uses the hand-wound DUW 4701 calibre, continuing a development story that began 23 years ago. Its patented power-reserve display dates to 2003, when 125 customers were invited to test the technology in everyday use.
