Breitling acquires Universal Genève
Breitling, majority-owned by a private equity firm, is acquiring Universal Genève. Founded in 1894, the Swiss watchmaker is known for its Tri-Compax chronographs, micro-rotor movements and Gérald Genta-designed Polerouter. The acquisition expands Breitling's business beyond its own watch brand.
